Where is the Italian Bike Night ?
We are excited to announce a fantastic new venue for the iconic Italian Bike Night. While maintaining the heritage of holding the event in Port Erin we will now be located at the Foraging Vintners Winery. Foraging Vintners (FV) is located opposite the pier in Port Erin towards the end of the beach. Just follow the prom past the beach and you can't miss the big pink doors and panoramic terraces. Bike Displays..
Of course there will be an amazing display of Italian Bikes..! From Classic to Modern, Road to Race, some very special bikes will be on display and appreciate. If arriving on your own Italian Bike, there will be dedicated parking by Manufacturer along the lower road (next to the sea wall). The terrace and winery of FV will display some exciting Italian bikes including Gareth Arnold's Aprilia RS660 TT Race Bike. Competing in the road racing this season, promising talent Gareth will be attending the event too. BSB winning John Laverty's 1098R race bike will also be amongst the fantastic exotic machinery exhibited. |
BBQ Food..
From 5pm until 9:30 pm - delicious BBQ food will be available from the Isle of Man's amazing Smoky Sam's BBQ. A mouth watering choice of slow smoked food is the speciality of Sam's plus, there are vegetarian options and light bites available too. Please click the logo above to see a sample menu of what is on offer, there is even a rumour Sam's will be putting on an Italian Bike Night Special..! If you fancy a sweet treat, Sam's desert menu includes some scrumptious offerings, including home made ice cream that should definitely be tried.. |
Drinks..
Foraging Vintners serve a range of hot and cold drinks including (decent) coffee, soft drinks as well as a vast range of alcohol brewed here on the Isle of Man ! The FV range of in house Ciders should be tasted, especially the Rhubarb ! Alongside the ciders there is a range of classic beers, including IOM Brewery Bushy's Norseman plus a solid range of low / non alcoholic beers from accross Europe. Foraging Vintners are suppliers for the now iconic "Podium Fizz" awarded to winners at the TT and Manx GP. These bottles are availble to buy and some will be given away as spot prizes to special bikes on the night..! |
